Terms of Service
These Terms govern your access to and use of FloridaPE.com, including the website, the engineering-service pages, the engineer information and the quote-request form (together, the “Service”), operated by FloridaPE.com (“we”, “us” or “our”). By using the Service or submitting a quote request you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of the Service
FloridaPE.com is an independent Florida engineering-services discovery website. It helps a person with a construction, building, permitting or site project find the kind of engineering help the project may need, find licensed professional engineers based in a given area, and request an engineering quote.
The Service also publishes information about licensed professional engineers, drawn from public Florida records. That information is supporting material. The Service is not a licensing authority, does not issue or verify licenses, and does not itself provide engineering services.
The Service is not a marketplace. A quote request may be routed to a participating Florida engineering provider, but we do not guarantee that any provider will respond, and using the Service does not create a contract between you and any provider.
2. No Professional Advice
Content on the Service, including service descriptions, project guidance, terminology and engineer information, is general information. It is not engineering, architectural, legal, permitting or code advice.
The Service does not determine whether a permit is required for any project, what a permit application must contain, or which engineering disciplines a project needs. Those questions depend on the project and on the authority reviewing it. Confirm them with the local building department and with a licensed professional engaged for your project.
Nothing on the Service should be relied on as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional who has reviewed your actual project.
3. Engineer Information and Public Records
The engineer information on this site is compiled from public Florida records. We do not create, verify or control that underlying data, and it may be incomplete, out of date, or differ from the current position.
An entry shows where an engineer is based. It is not an endorsement, a recommendation, a quality or safety evaluation, or a statement that an engineer practices any particular discipline. We do not know what services any engineer shown performs, and we do not attribute a specialty to anyone.
Before engaging anyone, verify current license status with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. Confirm discipline, experience, insurance and suitability directly with the engineer.
4. Quote Requests
A quote request may share your contact and project information with a participating Florida engineering provider for follow-up. See our Privacy Policy for information about how personal information is handled.
You agree that the information you submit is accurate, that you are authorized to submit it, and that you will not submit another person's details without their permission.
A quote request may be routed to a participating Florida engineering provider. Submitting a request does not create an engineering contract, does not oblige any provider to respond, and does not guarantee any particular outcome.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation; not to attempt to access, probe, overload or disrupt the Service, its systems or other users' data; not to submit false, misleading or unlawful content; not to submit another person's information without authority; and not to scrape, republish or resell the Service or its data except as expressly permitted.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, interface, written content, design and compilation, is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property law. Subject to these Terms we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own project research.
Underlying public record data is not ours to license and remains subject to whatever terms its source imposes.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service may link to third-party websites and may use third-party services for operation of the site. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their availability, security or handling of information.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR SECURE, OR THAT ENGINEER INFORMATION, SERVICE DESCRIPTIONS OR ANY OTHER CONTENT ARE ACCURATE, COMPLETE OR CURRENT.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS OR THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service, the information you submit, or your violation of these Terms or the rights of any third party.
11. Term and Termination
These Terms remain in effect while you use the Service. We may suspend or withdraw access to all or part of the Service at any time, including if these Terms are violated, if required by law, or if the Service is discontinued. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including sections 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 12, survive.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Orlando, Orange County, Florida.
